Hello, I am a little worried as I have had bad toilet issues and went to the doctor as I had dhiarrier and blood in my stool, both the blood and still sample test came back negative, my dhiarrier has stopped but i have just had white thick like tissue in my stool, is there something wrong?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM I have read and understood your concern. Diarrhea and bloody stool are common in bacteria or parasitic enteritis.Stool exam/culture and sensitivity tests are always very useful to identify and treat cause. Since blood and stool exams came back normal, i will assume there may be no big issue to over worry.Howevr, since mucous stool persists, I will advise you see your treating Doctor to evaluate the need for: -An anti-worm agent like mebendazole -An anti-protozoal like metronidazole A normal stool exam does not eliminate the above causes of bloody/mucous stool. Hope this will help Wish you good health. You may write back if more concerns. Best regards
