What Causes Diarrhea And Abdominal Tenderness After Taking Amoxicillin?
Hi I started taking Amoxicillian/Clavulanic Acid 875/125mg yesterday morning. So I have had 3 doses. I have taken with a little food. Today I have diarrhea and tenderness on my left side, where I have a hernia. Are these side effects, that are normal or should I stop taking this medicine and see a Dr. Thanks Suzanne

I really appreciate your concern, such abdominal disturbances could be antibiotic induced and this is nothing to worry because this would be fine soon as course of antibiotic overs, some time this can be managed with Lyophilized lactobacillus, if the symptom does not respond then you need to see the doctor, take care and have a nice day.
