What Causes Diarrhea And A Lump In My Throat?
I ve been suffering from diarrhea for over two weeks, as well as what feels like a lump in my throat. I haven t been able to cough up anything, but I do have a tinny or sour taste sometimes associated with it. I have gotten a stool sample and blood test done already but my results were normal. I was away when the symptoms first started at a music festival in Tennesee, and i m wondering if it was due to the water down there. There have been no signs of improvement.

Most possible issue of bacterial or viral infection at the festival region.
The lump throat is secondary to possible pharyngitis and diarrhea relates to the flora disturbances via the infective organism.
Treatment would be symptomatic as
- Probiotics
- GI specific antibiotics covering upper respiratory tract and devoid of side effect profile including diarrhea
- Dietary precautions.
