What Causes Diarrhea Along With Sore And Swollen Throat?

Hello I have a sore throat n I look inside my throat it s swollen n very uncomfortable , we are leaving to vacation and I hate being sick on our trip. I been having diarrhea few time today . What is going on? Virus or flu or cold . Past couple day I been having heache here n there. I been having sore throat for the last week not nothing this uncomfortable. I thought I might be season allergies little runny nose here n their dry couch occasion not often. Tonight when I swallo woke me up in pain.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of diarrhea along with sore and swollen throat . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like strep throat , viral pharyngitis , acid reflux or strep throat . I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles , take steam twice a days , eat healthy , avoid spicy and heavy food. Consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test along with viral culture test . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux. Avoid cold beverages and spicy food .
