What Causes Diarrhea Along With Nausea And Abdominal Bloating?

I had my gallbladder out 11/30/18. Four days ago started with diarrhea, indigestion, nausea and abdominal bloating. No abdominal pain. I did eat a richer, fattier meal than my normal the night before my symptoms started. Any thoughts to what this could be? Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

After gallbladder removal, bile reservoir is not present and lipid digestion is not easy. Here, diarrhea seems to be from taking high fatty foods. Avoid high fatty foods in the future.

If no improvement, then antisecretory and antidiarrheal medication can be given.

If diarrhea remains for a long time, then stool examination is advisable. Diarrhea also can be from the postcholecystectomy syndrome. Consult gastroenterologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
