What Causes Diarrhea Along With Dry Mouth?

Hi, My name is Joseph, Well i ve this problem since one or two weeks, at the beginning i ve diahrrea and dry mouth, and i don t want to eat anything, but i think that s because of the anxiety, cause i shared my milkshake straw with someone with HIV whose in that moment i don t now that have it, by the way i ve contact an special resource of my country that explain me that i ve not risk, cause HIV, can only be transmited by sex or drugs, so i ve to deal a lot in that weeks with that syntoms, trying to calm my mind, in this moment i ve a testicular ache, but it s not strong, or really painful it s just like uncomfortable, and also have gases, i don t know if this will be also a syntom of anxiety or i ve to get worried about it

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain diarrhea and dry mouth can occur due to dehydration and is not associated with HIV while can be due to common causes like stomach infection, electrolyte imbalance, food intolerance etc..
So even if you have simila symptoms take anti-diarrhea medicines like Loperamide and also take more of fluids, banana, yoghurt and cereals in diet..
Secondly as far as HIV is concerned, it is true that it spreads with sexual contact with infected individual and also exposure of blood with infected blood..
As far as sharing of straw is concerned there and negligible chances of getting HIV as saliva carries very low to about nil of virus particles and chances of spreading are not considerable..
So do not worry as testicular discomfort can even at times occur due to lower abdominal discomfort due to gases as well as indigestion..
Consult a Gastroenterologist and get a proper examination and evaluation done and stop worrying about HIV as you are not at the risk..
