What Causes Diarrhea Along With Abdominal Bloating And Flatulence?
I had a serious bout of diarrhea 3 days ago. 2 tabs of imodium seemed to resolve it until I had slight recurrence a day later. Decided not to take imodium again and allow it to run its course. I was fine until the following day and then had another single recurrence. It has now occurred again, about 36 hours later. I have had a small soft stool several times in between. Lots of gas and gurgling stomach.

Such diarrhea of short period is mostly from infections and is mostly not serious. However the important lesson is Imodium should never be taken for such short duration diarrhea or infectious diarrhea. What I understand this can be a little Infection in your gut.
