What Causes Diarrhea After Taking Steroid Shots On Knees?
mY 87 YEAR OLD MOM HAS A BAD CASE OF DIEARRHEA. SHE HAS HAD STERIOD SHOTS TO HER KNEES LAST WEEK. But before that she was taking an anitbotic for her Diabetic Foot Ulcer. Could this be the reason for the diarrhea? I just bought some probotic yorgurt and immodimum for her.

This can be caused by steroids which affect bowel mucosa but also infectious diseases so she should check for parasitic infections and till that she shoud drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
