What Causes Diarrhea After An Accident In A Pregnant Woman?
Hello, my name is Ashley. I was in a car accident Sunday night. Hit pretty hard from the back i am also 17 weeks pregnant. I went to the er that night an ultrasound was done and everything looked fine. 2 days later and now I'm having diaerra was wondering if this a cause of the accident,?
Hello! Thanks for your query. Diarrhea have no relation with car accident. Common cause of diarrhea during pregnancy are: Food poisoning, intestinal parasites, or a simple stomach flu may be behind a nasty bout. If you suspect any of these might be the case, call your practitioner ASAP so you can be tested and treated, when possible. Keep away from foods that will only make the problem worse: dried fruits ; fatty or spicy foods; and milk, especially if you're lactose intolerant. The so-called BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) has been recommended for years. Avoid "simple" high-sugar drinks. Sports drinks (like the electrolyte-replacement favorite) and water are much better options. Take care of your self
