What Causes Development Of Red Spots In Open Wounds Of My Legs?

I have several open wounds in both of my legs for over two weeks now. It started as red spots and developed into open wounds, different sizes, dime & quarter size. My dermatologist can't find any allergy. My wounds get to be very painful and doesn't speed up in its healing. 2 spots have become dried and looking better, but the rest are wet wounds. Please advise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

At this point, I advise to:
- run a culture of wound liquid (pus if any) to determine the right cause
- get your diabetes checked
- keep good hygiene and get your wounds regularly medicated as advised by your doctor.
- you might need to consult angiologist to rule out local blood vessels problems that end up in wounds

Wish fast recovery!
