HI... DOC MY PERIODS WERE DUE ON 21 OF JUNE BUT I DIDN T GET ANY PERIODS .I AM ONE DAY LATE...I FEEL I AM PREGNANT i am TAKING PRIMOUT n from 22 days I have to take it for 4 more days as prescribed by my gyanae for uterus polyp should I continue TAKING it or should I stop.

Hi, Thanks for the query.I understand your concern. PrimoluteN is an oral contraceptive with hormones You are taking it since 22 days & you need to take the pills for 4 more days. According toyouyou are post dated by one day.... Being on contraceptive before expected ovulation., it's not likely to be pregnancy ( but In short cycle of 21 days... ovulation would be on 7th.. 8th day.. &in such case pregnancy is possible) In case there is no pregnancy is there you will have bleeding after 7 days of finishing Primolute N pills.... But in case there is pregnancy you will not get bleeding even after finishing the pills....&in such a case the pregnancy needs to be terminated (as oral contraceptive like Primolute N are teratigenic) You can comolete the ciurse advised by yiur doctor. Thanks.
