Last month I had my period that lasted over a week I had contraction like pains so I went to see my doctor and a big sack of tissue came out with my period and the doctor said it was my uterus lining but this month I haven't had my period at all and no symptoms either .. is that normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As a physician I would like to tell you that as your physician said, it was normal to have big chunks of clotted blood coming out of your vaginal during periods. I would suggest that you should undergo a Ultrasonography of your uterus to determine that the lining is restored and also consult a MD Obgy doc in your periods continues to miss for 2nd month.

Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question. Have a nice day.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
