What Causes Delayed Periods While On Medication For Gastritis?

Hi doc..I am expecting my period to come by January 7..but still it s late for 3 weeks already..I have taken a medicines for gastritis for 2 weeks already..is the medicine can cause a period to be delayed?? My boobs are paining but until now my period didn t come..looking forward for your answer..thank you

Hi Thank you for query.Some irregularities in cycles can occur due to stress physical or mental or hormonal variations or pregnancy. Get a OTC pregnancy test done if Intercourse history present.Otherwise consult your doctor for withdrawal bleeding inducing drugs.
