What Causes Delayed Periods And Vaginal Spotting?

Period was suppose to start my period on September 9, 2017 and today Is September 12th and I stared having a creamy discharge with little blood in it. An hour later it turned to a orange red color but only when I wipe and a small amount. Idk what to do pls help.

Thanks for asking. I undertand your concern.
-Delayed period in fertile age.. first possibility is pregnancy (if you are expecting child birth)-the bleeding being implantation bleeding... which stops in few hours.
- Alternatively it can be hormonal imbalance due to physical /psychological stress .
In this condition .. take rest,observe the bleeding.It may turn to normal menstrual bleeding within a couple of days.
If it does not ..go for pregnancy test after 8 days delay in normal period , to confirm pregnancy.
*Consult a gynecologist if pregnancy is +ve /pregnancy -ve but bleeding is not normal/any other abnormal symptom.
