What Causes Delayed Periods And Pink Vaginal Spotting?

Hi Dr I have missed my period 12 days . I had a bit trash at the beginning but I used live yogurt and it helped. Also I had a light pink spotting on the the day of my period and 5 days later . I don t have any other really obvious symptoms apart that I urinate more frequently like something is pushing my bladder and have a bit discomfort this morning like a burning sensation . I had over counter test done with negative result . I am abroad currently and it is really driving me mad . Thank you

Hi I think if your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. It can happen due to some stress factor or vaginal infection also. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. to rule out any infection. Also get urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any urine infections. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. You may need some antibiotic also. Hope it helps.
