What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Vaginal Spotting And Tiredness?

Hello, Advice would be great. I am 7 days late on my period, a bit dark red/brown spotting 2 days and bright red today (when I wipe). Have been feeling very tired, sleepy, blotted, light headed, shaky, and a bit nauseous. I will be purchasing a test tomorrow any advice today would be great.

Hi.

The spotting could be due to an implantation bleed but it usually lasts a day or until 3 days maximum. A urine pregnancy test should be carried out using an early morning urine sample at least 2 weeks from the suspected date of conception, or on or after the second day of a missed period. It would provide us with clarity on the matter, but various causes can lead to a hormonal fluctuation that can also cause symptoms similar to yours.

Let us rule pregnancy out first and then we can look for other causes ma'am.
