What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Sore Breasts While On Birth Control?

Alright so im actually on birth control but it originally was just for my periods. But at the beginning of june i did have sex and i did have sex at the end as well and i also missed two pills on accident and ever since then ive missed two periods. Last week i was spotting but it was like so dark it was brown and i dont think it was my period so once i skipped last month s cycle i waited it out to see if this months would come i was supposed to start yesterday and my boobs got sore the day before i was supposed to start like they always do but havent had a period but i also havent had any symptoms at all that tell u ur pregnant and im just scared to death and stressed out

I really appreciate your concern, with hormone therapy such menses is very common and this may be due to hormone changes and this may not be pregnancy, still it is most advisable to get done the sonography test for this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
