What Causes Delayed Period While UPT Is Negative?

I have missed a few of my contraception pills last month and did not have a period when I was supposed to have one. My nurse has said not to worry about this because a test came back as negative but I have started taking a new months pill now. Please can you advise?

Hi,
You should not start new pack without having period.
Starting new pack will not allow bleeding and there will be no period till you finish new pack.
Consult your doctor and discuss about this problem.
