What Causes Delayed Period While HPT Is Negative?

Hi- I am late for my period and was wondering if you could give me some insight on reasons why. My last period was Jan 7-10. That means right now I am on day 31, which is the longest it has ever been. Starting January 3rd I have been exercising more, and have a way healthier diet (because of my higher blood pressure that needs to come down). January 1st I weighed 173, and I am now 160, today. I am also 23 years old and 5 foot 3. I have taken a pregnancy test, and it said I am not pregnant. Should I be worried? My boyfriend has never finished inside me, but sometimes doesn t wear condoms for part of the time we have sex. I have birth control that I can go on, but i have to wait for my period to come...

I really appreciate your concern, irregular menses could be due to hormone medicine or may be due to pregnancy because no contraceptive method is hundred per cent promising if you have missed the period and suspicious for pregnancy then you need to get done the ultrasonography test to get it confirm because this is the only accurate test, hope this information helps, take care.
