General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem can be most likely due to peri-menopause. Irregularities in menstrual period is usual in this age which is associated with peri-menopause. Taking low dose hormonal drugs like Progyluton will be helpful to regularise your period.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
