Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
You did the right thing by taking Unwanted 72 after the episode of leakage of condom during intercourse.
Unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill, which when taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, protects against pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding with 3 weeks from the day you have taken the pill.
Since you haven't had periods within the specified period and experiencing back ache and pain in the legs, there is a chance that you could have conceived due to pill failure.
You should have taken medical help immediately if you hadn't got periods in 3 weeks.
Kindly check your urine for pregnancy and consult Gynecologist for further evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.

Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
It is common to have problem with the periods after using emergency pills to prevent pregnancy. it mostly causes irregular or heavy bleeding but delay is one option also. But to be sure if you are missing a period you will need to have a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If periods are not coming have a pregnancy test in 2-3 days again.
If no periods for another 2-3 weeks and still negative pregnancy tests than you will need to see a doctor.
Hope this is helpful and answers to your question.
