Hi,

Home pregnancy test is reliable after 8 days delay in menstrual date. You need to repeat it at proper time to confirm / exclude pregnancy. Delayed pain with constant, strong pain in left side of abdomen, needs early consultation of your gynecologist (to exclude possibility of ectopic pregnancy.)

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
