What Causes Delay In Baby Crawling?

Hello Dr, My son is 9 months old and his weight is 10 Kg. As on date he has not started crawling on four legs. He is only crawling full flat with the help of his hands. Is this something to worry. In another 3 months he would be completing 1 year and i heard that a child would start to walk before that.

Does your child sit up on his own? Can he stand with support by holding on to furniture? If so, dont worry. Many children do not crawl but direcctly start to stand and walk. A baby is expected to walk by 15 months of age, not at 1 year, though some do walk earlier.
