What Causes Dark Vomiting After An Appendectomy During Pregnancy?
Hi, doctor i am 14 weeks pregnant and had an appendectomy last october 21,i don t feel any pain anything except that i am not comfortable when i vomit every after dinner and its color is dark brown and after i vomit when get back to sleep i feel like chocking there is something blocking on my throat.?
Dear madam,I understand your concern. In my opinion the vomitings might be admixed with blood leading into altered colour. In case of excess and forceful vomiting the capillaries in the throat will be ruptured leading to throat injury and there by blood in the vomitings. And as there is throat injury it leaves a sensation like something in the throat. So I suggest you to take medicine for vomiting after consulting the doctor. Take food in small quantities .Take adequate fluids to combat dehydration due to vomitings. It might not be related with appendicectomy. Best regards...Dr.srilatha
