What Causes Dark Sots On The Vaginal Wall?

I have two dark round spots that appeared on the labia. They are round and brown. What could this mean? I only noticed a few weeks ago. I was using Premarin on the outside on the labia. I had breast cancer last year, but am cancer free. I also have a bad prolapse of bladder, colon and vaginal wall that I am having surgery on the 26th. He said not to worry, but he would do a biospy then. I am feeling very anxious. Please I need some explanation of what this could mean?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Dark spots on labia may be part of mole or other skin lesion as pigmentation issue or else.

However, many of the skin lesions do present as pre cancerous lesions and hence without taking any risk, I would suggest to get its biopsy done with consultant surgeon or dermatologist for its cure as well as diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
