What Causes Dark Green Or Brown Color Stool?

Hey, this whole last week I have been constantly feeling like I am going to poop myself. even if i dont eat food, I woke up one morning and I instantly felt sick just walking. but usuall after almost everything I eat i feel sick that way. I noticed my poop has been turning a dark green/brown color also... and sometimes I have diarrhea but other times when I get the pain like im going to have to go it just comes out normal.. but its been a dark color. anyway, today I really got thinking about it because ive pooped more than once today and the smell is strong like as if I was at a hair salon and smelling the stuff they use to perm hair. Once in awhile I get that way with that smell... but this second time it was really strong so i decided to look online before i read that the smell is because of bacteria in my intestine and just to get like activia yogurt and help regulate it. But I am concerned because of the dark color and really strong smell what could be wrong?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of feeling of poop constantly, feeling sick, dark green poop, strong smell.
The cause is obviously an intestinal infection and disturbance of bacterial flora and inflammation of the intestines.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Send the sample of stool for tests.
Check for Blood- sugar, thyroid, CBC , electrolytes.
Clinical evaluation, examination, investigations if any and a valid prescription of an antibiotic, metronidazole and symptomatic treatment must help you to have proper control of infection.
