wondering what might be wrong..... darker colored urine than being dehydrated....does not burn to urinate but after i can feel discomfort down there. About two 3 weeks ago a female friend said she was tested positive for gonorrhea. I went in and got tested and they gave me antibiotics. I tested negative for both syphilis and gonorrhea.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern.
Looking at your description this might be related to dehydration, infection , liver disease like jaundice or your diet.

I would advise you for a battery of tests like urine culture and sensitivity test and an ultrasound study to find out underlying cause

If it doesn't come conclusive than you may require IVU kind of radiological studies to find our underlying cause

If you can write back to me with more relevant medical information like your age and duration of illness, So that I will be able to tell you more precisely.

Best wishes
