What Causes Cramps In The Feet And Ankles?

I am a CLL patient and am relapsed. Dr. started me in Imbruvica three weeks ago and tonight am experiencing cramps in both feet. Ankles almost locked. Is there anything I can do for this and should I notify my oncologist concerning this symptom. Other than some indigestion and tiredness I seem otherwise fine.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You should contact your oncologist for sure.

Maybe the cramps come from exacerbation of the CLL or may be a side effect of the medications you are using to treat it.

You should check your blood count immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
