What Causes Crackling Sounds In Ears While Burping?

hi, my right ear huts after i jumped in to the water earlier today, iwhen i listen on it, the sound is suppressed, as in i can still hear, but less than i used to. It also hurts when i burp and have hickups, also i have been hearing crackling sounds inside it

Due to jumping into the water (without using ear plugs) there is water in the ear that is the main reason for the symptoms.

Eustachian tube is the passage between the throat and ear. It also sometimes get clogged and infected and may cause these kind of hurting symptoms which you are facing.

I preferably suggest you to consult an Otorhinolaryngologist for complete evaluation and treatment. He will do an examination with an Otoscope and will treat accordingly. Sometimes there is wax in ear and due to accidental water entry into the ear the wax swells up and causes such symptoms. Wax and water removal with instrument by the expert hands of Otorhinolaryngologist is the solution to this issue.
