My wife passed away last august and still cant understand why. She came out of the hospital on August 14 and seemed to be just fine. She could not eat because the radiation she had burned her esophagus so they sent her home with tpn. On the morning of the 16th she could not breath so we called an ambulance and brought her to the hospital. She was in er for 6 hours and sent icu where they put her on a ventilator. 3 days later she came off the ventilator and coughed up a blood clot. That night they put her back on the ventilator and apparently developed ttp. Her kidneys shut down . they did the plazma reverse thing but declared her brain dead on friday and told me I had to let her go. I dont understand none of this because she came out of the hospital a week before. She had lung cancer but they told me the cancer was gone. If it was gone why did they do another chemo treatment.? Did the last chemo treatment kill her???? Jack A Siriann
