What Causes Coughing And Headaches While On Azelastine?
I am having difficulty with Azelastine, using it as directed twice daily by my ENT doctor. I am encountering heavy mucus several times a day with severe coughing when this occurs. I spit this heavy mucus and blow my nose to clear my sinus area. I have severe headaches most every day. Am I in danger continuing this medication 2 times each day?

I really appreciate your concern, this could upper respiratory symptoms may be due to some allergic condition and medicine has nothing to with this in my opinion you should continue the medicine, drink lot of water, steam inhalation, this would be fine soon, hope this information helps, take care.
