What Causes Cough,chocking Sensation And Rolling Of Eyes?
my Dad has been coughing, then choking where he turns beet red and his eyes roll back. It looks like he is physically unable to get air in or out. This happens eating, not eating, sometimes just with his own saliva or taking just a drink. He is on thickened liquids. He s had a swallow study and an EGD. They are unable to find a cause. The Heimlich Man. doesn t work either

I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam. It could be ALS or myastenia gravis. It is important performing nerve conduction studies in order to exclude these possible causes.
