What Causes Continuous Vomiting In Children?

It is now 11:15pm.My 12 yr old son has been vomiting since his bus ride home from school. The last couple times there was some reddish color mixed in his vomit. He did have a few strawberries this morning. He takes seroquel, intuniv and lamotrigine. There is no fever. Does this sound like emergency room or just wait a day?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a stomach flu. I recommend using electrolyte solution. I also suggest eating small amounts of solid food and drink a lot of liquids. I suggest to rest. If the vomiting continues, you should go at the emergency room.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
