What Causes Continued Swelling In Tongue And Throat?
hi my daughter has had swollen tounge and thoat no one seems to know what wrong we seen gastro inmuroligist maxifacial ent doctors the inmumroligist wants tounge biopsy doing and maxifacial doc says will only show swollen tissue but inmumroligist says need look at cells so im stuck what to do daughter does not want dong at all but she not at school cause off tounge for 8 months know and not sure what to do next

Biopsy may be needed to rule out autoimmune or immunity disorders or other disorders. Biopsy is not without risks in this condition as it involves the vascular tongue organ. If u so not get anyone to do the biopsy as per the protocols u need to visit a specialist who will start empirical treatment with immune modulator or steroids for the problem to resolve. Cannot continue like this a s tongue swelling is dangerous. Rule out allergies angioneurotic... oedema
