General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Hair loss among typhoid affected patients is quite normal. But this usually occurs in those patients who are already suffering from hair loss or hair loss is in their families.

Other people who do not have a history of hair loss, will usually regain it within 6 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
