Hi, someone punched me in the nose several months ago, but sometimes I have these wierd headaches where the area where I broke it hurts also, nerves I guess. But then I also have continual blood spotting every time I blow my nose, and I have more mucus(snot) in one nostrol where the blood comes from. what does it mean? anything? Or have i turned into a hypocondriac?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Spotting while blowing the nose can be related to the trauma.

It can be prevented with proper lubrication of the nasal passages and not picking the nose.

I also suggest to drink liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
