What Causes Constipation, Abdominal Cramps Followed By Diarrhea?
For the last 3 days I have had gastrointestinal issues. day 1 constipation. day 2 lower abdominal cramps. I took Dulcalax at bedtime. The next morning I still had diarrhea and cramps so I took Phillips Milk of Magnesia. I had 2 doses during the day(4TBS.) Today still have cramps, feels like I m ready to give birth! Just took another dose of Phillips. Also, I have been drinking lots of water with fresh ginger. I do suffer from reflux but this GI issue is very unusual. Could it be from food poisoning? What else would you recommend? Thank you for your advice.
