What Causes Constant Vomiting And Loose Stools In An Infant?

Hi ...i have a 7 months old baby..her stomach is always upset ..she is on bottle feed.and forcefully takes milk.do vimiting on regularly basis..now a days she is passing very loose stool.i am very upset with her stomach problem due to taht smell is coming from her mouth..wht should i do..doctr prescribed medicine like zincat.zatofen.wht shoud i do

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of constant vomiting and loose stools. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like infection of the gut , food poisoning, viral infection, gastroenteritis, inflammation of the gut (colitis), food intolerance and various rare disorders of the gut. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. You should avoid giving any spicy and sharp food to child. You should give child proper rest and avoid giving any outside food. Give child plenty of water. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe loperamide , laxative , omeprazole and antacids . For now give your child fruits like banana and lot of fluid.
