What Causes Constant Urination?
A couple times per year I feel like I have to urinate almost constantly. I feel like I have to consciously control myself from urinating. It will come and go throughout the day and lasts for about a week. I have had my prostate checked and nothing abnormal there.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It appears to be sphincter control problem or lumbosacral spinal PIVD affecting sphincter control or it can be KUB or cystitis. Exclude them by investigation. Can go for spirometry if everything is normal then urine culture and sensitivity should be done and take most effective antibiotic. Drink more water and alkasol.
