What Causes Constant Stomach Pain After An Injury?

My son jumped and misjudged his landing and knocked the wind out of him self. However that was 6+ hours ago and ever since he has complained of stomach pain. I have looked and there is nothing visible to the eye of injury and does not hurt when i press on it, just a constant pain

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

After a minor injury to the belly, pain, nausea, or vomiting may occur. These symptoms usually improve within a few minutes. Pain and other symptoms that continue after an injury may be a sign of organ damage. In this case, I suggest to go at the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
