What Causes Constant Sneezing And Itchy Red Eyes?

what causes constant sneezing and itchy red eyes that causes nasal congestion along with itchy roof of mouth right after sneeze... happens everyday all year long.... does not matter if I am in doors or outside cold or hot.... but my symptoms seem to act up mostly when I am around heat, a stuffy confined room, and usually when I eat garlic it seems to slow the sneezing down.... what could be wrong with me, what could I be allergic to, and what things and remedies could I use to ease my annoying sneezing life to ease and happiness.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of constant irritation of palate, sneezing, red eyes and so on, relieved by garlic and increases on certain conditions as you have mentioned, wants to know the cause, treatment and so on.
The history is surely suggestive of a condition called allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis and pharyngitis, the irritants caused the parts that are easily exposed to atmosphere, anything through the air it seems.
The Dictum in medical field is that anything under the sun including the sun can cause allergy.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, take a second opinion of an Allergy Specialist if available in your area.
Get the skin allergy tests and blood tests too.
Your keen observation alone can find out the causes that instigate or enhance your symptoms.
Take a proper treatment in the form of antihistamine.
Oral steroid and topical steroids in tapering does.
Take multivitamins with minerals and trace elements as supplements as these help boost immunity.
The best is prevention that is avoid the instigating and enhancing factors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
