What Causes Constant Shoulder Pain After Injury?

I broke my shoulder blade and some ribs six months ago and am still experiencing pain in my shoulder blade on a daily basis. When turning in my sleep, the pain wakes me up which is exhausting. I m wondering how much longer I can expect to experience this level of pain please?

Since you have persistent pain for almost 6 months now, the possibility of non healing fracture should be considered.
X ray shoulder needs to be done.
please be advised to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation and management.
