What Causes Constant Popping Sensation In The Left Ear?

My left ear won t pop ..............sounds seem tinny and muffled. I ve tried tilting my head and holding my nose, nothing works. If I cover my right ear I can barely hear out of the left. My ENT said try holding my nose and blowing two or three times daily and it should improve, but nothing works. My right ear pops easily, left will not at all.

Hello Dear. there is a possibility that you have wax in the ear. You can use waxol or Soliwax ear drops 2 drops in the ear, keep a cotton in the ear and lie down on that side for 15 mins. The wax may come out on its own. Try this for 2 days. if its not improving take a second opinion of another ENT specialist. the wax may be impacted which needs syringing and removal.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
