What Causes Constant Pain In The Neck And Shoulders?

if a doctor was doing a procedure (or an injection) on someone who was having constant pain in the neck and shoulder, could they have punctured (or nicked) a sac or something that would cause spinal fluid to leak ? I am just trying to understand what a friend is telling me about her spinal fluid leaking.

There is a possibility of CSF leakage after a lumbar puncture procedure. Lumbar puncture is done to draw CSF for testing, or injecting medicines in the intradural space.

Usually the leakage stops after a few minutes. But in some cases there might be persistent leakage for a few hours.

Hope this answers your question, thank you
