What Causes Constant Pain In The Knees And Thighs?

I have constant pain in the back of knees and back of thighs. Pulling back of calves is extremely painful in back of knees. Pain is constant while walking. Unable to carry much of anything heavy. Lifting one foot , say like starting to go up or down stairs, is extremely painful. I cannot go up or down staircase one step at a time without extreme pain. Some pain is felt in lower back. Is there anything else you would need me to explain? I am 70 years old and still working as an electrician.

Good day and thank you for posting this question. You are actually a strong man working as an electrician at the age of 70 years, I wish you more productive years ahead. From your description you are having Musculoskeletal pain and a pain killer like Acetaminophen would do for you. Acetaminophen should help in reducing the pain and you can continue with your work. You also need multivitamin supplements and good nutrition.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
