What Causes Constant Pain In Arm After Having Blood Drawn?

Hie Dr. Well i am 23 and had blood drawn from my left arm in month of February in blood bank as i donate blood once a year(this was 2nd blood donation)..i dont felt much pain at that time bt my arm was numb n tingling n prickling n burning with pain which continues till today..i had visited various doctors with various conclusions n treatment . i had tried cold hot plus heparin treatment bt d pain is constant.will it heal?..is there possible permanent nerve damage. i have not lost sensation. Do nerve damage heal..?

Hi,

It could be thrombophlebitis, that is inflammation of an artery or vein from which blood has been drawn. Apply thrombophobe ointment over it, and if not relieved, consult at your nearest hospital.
