What Causes Constant Pain And Tired Feeling In The Shoulder?

I have a constant pain or tired feeling in my right shoulder. I wake up in the middle of the night because of it. I also have pins and needles in my fingers when I wake up. What could be the cause of this. Are they connected to each other or is it 2 different issues

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

I also suggest immobilizing the area to avoid further damage.

If the symptoms continue I suggest consulting a neurologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
