What Causes Constant Joints Pain Despite Taking Tylenol And Ibuprofen?

I was diagnosed with Parvo in june and shingles outbreak happened in November on right side of my face and ear. I was told to take benedryl and cortisone for the shingles. I ve had constant joint pain especially at night. Doctor said to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen which won t last allnight. I m on armour thyroid due to thyroid removal 45 years ago. 59 year old remale approximately 112 lbs.

Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this -

1) Do a clinical examination by your doctor [rheumatologist] and to confirm do few pathological tests like [CBC with differential, uric acid, and ultrasound]

2) Discuss with your treating doctor prescription medications like-

a) [Colchicine] for pain

b) [febuxostat] to prevent complications for future

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1) Keep your fluid intake high. Stay well-hydrated, including plenty of water.

2) Limit or avoid alcohol like [BEER]

3) Get your protein from low-fat dairy products. Limit your intake of meat, fish, and poultry.

4) Try to maintain desirable body weight.
