General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Headaches are very common in your age and the most likely cause in your case is migraine headaches. On the other hand, a good check and some tests may be needed to rule out other possible causes of headaches.
I would recommend you to have a thorough physical examination with your doctor, including a neurological exam, and possibly some tests such as:
- TSH, FT4
- CBC, ERS
- basic metabolic profile

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
