What Causes Constant Bowel Sounds In The Abdomen?

Constant “farting noises” in abdomin. I can’t concentrate on class because I feel like it will make the noise. It causes me huge amounts of stress. I’ve tried no diary, that didn’t seem to work. And I’ve noticed that when I eat fruits and vegetables it make it worse. Please help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Issue sound to be hyperactivity of intestine in relation with stressful situations which is usually physiologic through hormone mediation and at times pathological via certain hormone-producing tumors.

In my clinic, I do recommend a better approach with the reports of colonoscopy, ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis, necessary lab tests and so forth for the final diagnosis and care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
